Services
Speech Pathology
Speech pathologists assess, diagnose and treat individuals with communication difficulties, including those related to speech, language, literacy and social communication.
Speech pathologists also support individuals who have swallowing and/or feeding difficulties.
Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapists help individuals to participate in activities they find meaningful so they can live life to the fullest. We consider the occupations of people, and for children these occupations may include playing, sleeping, eating, learning, engaging in leisure as well as being a friend and family member.
Here at Redlands Children’s Therapy Centre we aim to empower children to achieve their goals.
Play Therapy
Art Therapy
Art therapy uses the creative elements of visual arts, such as painting, drawing, clay and textiles as well as other creative processes such as writing, story-telling, movement and play, to facilitate self-expression, communication and self-awareness. It promotes physical, mental, social and emotional well-being by combining traditional counselling with an understanding of the therapeutic aspects of the creative process.
Educational Support
Our specialised educators provide one-on-one and group-based educational support, including targeted literacy and numeracy interventions for children and teens. Our educators have experience supporting children with a variety of disabilities and learning difficulties and develop individualised plans to support your child’s unique learning and development needs.
